It was a beautiful night out tonight, the kind of night, that made Alucard wish that he wasn’t under the leash of the Hellsing Organization. It was the kind of night that made him remember things that had happened almost a decade ago. Alucard shook his head, ridding himself of the memories that invaded his mind. He was a hunter now, and that was a life time ago.
The No-Life King stood still, the wind blowing his red cloak around him as his red eyes took in the forest below the hill, he was standing on. He could feel the weight of his Jackal and Jason waiting to be drawn, and have their custom anti-freak bullets fired into a monster’s heart. A smile played around his lips as he thought about the glorious battle to come when he finally faced the army of created vampires. Surely there had to be one that would finally give him a challenge. The last one, Luke Valentine had been a serious disappointment when Alucard had taken his head off. And his arms, and his legs.
Lately these last few days, the activity had been relatively quiet, and the only thing to keep him occupied, was teaching the police girl to start thinking and acting like a vampire, and not the human that she wished for. But still, the evening walker had her uses. So Alucard had amused himself by sneaking out when Integra wasn’t looking, which she seemed to be doing a lot lately. Maybe it was her human worries that caused her to keep an eye on him. Was she afraid that he would try and find the cause of all this mess and wipe them from the playing table? No, maybe it was the fact that he wasn’t doing anything about it that made her worry. He smirked, remembering the first time had had meet Integra. She had tried to put a bullet into his head. She would’ve soon found out that it would’ve taken much more than that.
Alucard was so deep in his thoughts, that he didn’t hear someone coming up from behind him.

Destiny rolled her neck numbly until she heard the last crack then returned to looking a head. She had been out here for hours trying to find anything to sketch or even take a photo of. But nothing was jumping out at her.

There were hundreds of photos on birds, twenty thousand sketches of trees, millions of scapes and it all had been done before! It was all done before by herself by others , there had to be more. There had to be something other then the trees and the scenery, the noise of the city, the people with fake smiles, students faces they had all been done. What else was there. Something, something in her mind did not click with the normalsy around her. Destiny had even tried going into the slums near by but found it to be a fruitless effort. If life were like a movie there would have been a mugging or a gun fight but the slums wasn't always that way. She knew that first hand.

Unconciously she stroked the scar that ran across her front through the fabric of her orange shirt. The memories chilled her sometimes. The truck they hit couldn't move out of the way. The thought haulted as quickly as it started. She wanted to laugh at how she could think of something and have it lead to something the first had nothing to do with. A flicker of red flashed in the corner of her eye and she ignored it at first but it didn't disipate. Destiny turned her head slowly towards the figure just behind the tree she stood and only a few feet away. 'There it is..' She thought amazed. Even if the figure had his, she deduced this stance wise, back turned the coat was a marvel. Her hand shot for the camera around her neck and without thinking pulled it to her face and took a snap shot...And the flash was on. A side from the fact that the picture was ruined by the extra light, she wanted the star light to suffice, but what if he got mad or something. That realization hit her like a ton of bricks, even from behind he seemed powerful but all she could think to do was press her back on the out side of the tree facing away from him...And hope he didn't notice.

Was this how things had turned out? The world seemed to be going to hell, with vampires running loose, throwing away all pride for what they were, and creating Ghouls as they went on killing humans because they felt like it. Stupid Punks. No one had any respect for their elders anymore, and for their race. Alucard sighed, looking up at the sky, the wind picking up his cloak making it flutter behind him. Spreading his legs apart, he put his arms to his side and turned, just as the camera flash went off. A wicked smile crept onto his face, as his inhuman eyes caught the edge of someone trying to hide themselves behind a tree.

Alucard turned to face the way he had been looking before, acting as if he hadn’t seem the flash, but then he caught himself in a low chuckle turning back to face the way the flash had come from. He spread his arms, and became a colony of bats making its way to the area opposite of the way he was facing, so he could walk right up to his stalker. Forming up his human appearance, Alucard took a step forward, the smile still playing around his lips, his heavy boots not making a sound as he hunted the hunter. Not even bothering to move for the trees, the vampire shifted his body through them, walking through the massive trunks as if through nothing, until his eyes could see the person. A young girl, and he stopped. For some reason, she reminded him of her, and he caught himself thinking to the past. That was over with now, and this was just a human. The smile faded from his lips and he shifted through the tree, so he was standing right in front of her, and he smiled. “it’s a nice night, don’t you think?”

Bats? Her eyes were pressed shut, cluching tightly to her old camera she waited. She'd had it about seven years now. Precious thing it worked still and only required film and two AA batteries to work. Right now it felt like her life line. Her heart jumped when she opened her eyes to see the man standing in front of her. He didn't look mad just rather thoughtful. Something in her said she didn't want to know. Her eyes were rather large as she took in his features. Tall, dark hair, slim build, broad shoulders, you could tell he carried alot of power and he carried it well. Absently she clenched her teeth around the bulb of her tongue ring, a nervous habit.

Fantically she looked from side to side just wanting to be out of sight and maybe out of mind. Maybe he didn't seem angered by her at all, not even disturbed even but Destiny didn't want to take chances with him. Again she cursed herself. Normally she was credited for being a strong women herself, one who also carried herself well, always older then she seemed but right now she felt her age, just barely 18. Her thought process was interupted with his question but it didn't first register in her mind that he had even spoke to her.

High cheek bones sunglasses hiding his eyes. 'Nice bone structure..' she thought in lapse of absense of her fear. Slowly she gave a weak smile in return, also noting that he had just walked through a tree but she decided she'd seen enough to not surprise her just yet... naw who was she kidding that fact that this person was probably not even human was a shock to her system. 'breath...' Destiny chanted to herself before anwsering weakly.

"Uh..yes, i-it i-i-is ..." Still she clutched the camera over her heart tightly.

Alucard, crossed his arms over his chest, not even breathing. One corner of his lips were peeled up in a wicked smile as played across his face. He watched her face through his sunglasses as she looked to side to side, and then studied his face. He often had this affect on humans were they were so repulsed by him, that they found his features fasinacting in almost everyway.

he continued to study her face, in almost the same way that she was studing his. But there was a difference. He was thristy, and she was human. Alucard sighed, knowing that without Integra's permission, he wouldn't be able to harm this child. Instead, he took a step forward, just to intimadate her. She was shorter than he was, so he had to look at her, the rims of his glasses dipping down low enough, for her to see his eyes. Many a person had been hyponotized by them, but again with out Integra's permission, he wouldn't be able to use that power. He smirked at her stuttering answer and leaned back out of her face so she wouldn't feel crowded. "Night's a dangerous time to be out in. You could get be hurt." He said the word could instead of may because there was a greater chance, with the new vampires running around, that she would end up becoming a ghoul.

Destiny looked down at her feet and shook her head. her heart beat frantically in her chest but she trying to stay calm. The stutter of a voice she produced had snapped her out of it and wiped away some of her fear. No, she was stronger then this and she knew it. She had a brother to take care of even if they were an ocean apart. She was stronger.

Blinking Destiny raised her head and striaghtened her posture a little. She was a little shakey with this shock to her system. Taking a chance she did look up into his eyes with a reduced fear but a wariness. He looked like a preditor who'd just found dinner. Again something told her she didn't want to know. She repressed a shiver and actually imagined something that would put a smile on her face which wasn't hard, just the thought of beating the last level of her game, or having a painting hanging in a gallery, made her happy, she used that as a cover. But still she couldn't help but tense when he took a step forward. She found him rather fasinating though she couldn't wait to get home and develope the flim in her self made dark room. 'I woner if he'll let me sketch him..no that would take another five minutes and I should probably be heading to my car.' His voice brought her from her stupor and she found him a little too close for comfort. With anervous laugh she began to anwser.

"Cha' I know," She released the death grip on her camera slowly. "I've been out here all day looking for something..." She shrugged the shoulder with her canvas bag hanging from it. "I guess I should go home though huh?" With her eye closed she tilted her head to the side and laughed. Maybe she could try and carry on a conversation, because he was right, something could and would happen. If only some what vaguely Destiny knew the place had some strange creatures she didn't even want to think about too much, 'Heck I'm staring at one now...' she thought eye twitching, Some how that thought made her think of a vampire from an old horror movie. Heck he fit the description. But still maybe if she got him talking maybe she could get him to be kind enough to walk her to her car.

The Midian watched the girl's face, looking for the effect that his statement had on her. Most of the time, humans who can across him, rarley left happy about meeting him. Most of the time, they spent their nights, thinking about him, to scared to go to sleep, or forgetting about him, and getting on with their life. Something told him that this girl was different though. Alucard locked his eyes on her face, listening to her frantic heartbeat, a crazed smile on his face, but then his eyebrows narrowed in a slight puzzlement as he say a change in her eyes and features. The fear that had been there, was replaced by a slight determination, and he heard her heartbeat slowly steady itself out.

Alucard tilted his head slightly, making the shadows move across his face. He continued to watch her, and then started laughing softly under his breath. He didn't think that he would ever understand humans, and their complicated little feelings of humanity. Like duty and determination. Vampires didn't need such things. He ran his eyes up and down her, taking notes tohimself with the things like her camera and her canvas bag and her age. Young, and out by herself without company was a becon for bringing in others who would want to cause her toruble. Trouble as in an eternity of d**nation.

He watched her tense at his location near her, and at caused his smile to come onto his face once again. He loved his times of frightenening the humans. There wasn't much to do otherwise. Laughter passed his lips as he watched her fingers loosen on her camera. Stupid things wouldn't be able to capture a vampire on it, so if this human wanted to develop a picture of him, she would soon be disappointed. he took a tep back, going deeper into the shadows, so now the only thing visibale of his face was his glasses relfecting the moonlight. "You silly people never seem to understand the complexcity of what you do. That camera you hold won't do a thing for you.." The wind picked up, and his cloak was spread out behind him. "What od you plan to do with that film girl?"

Destiny blinked at him rather oddly. Yeah that as a good question, what was she going to do with the film? When she developed it, what would she do with it then? She could hang it up suffice that anything actually show up. Right now she wasn't so sure. More then anything in her mind she was curious. Even melted into the shadows it was a perfect opportunity to sketch him although it might be difficult to with the lack light and she had to repress the urge to actually whip out her sketch book and do it anyway. 'All smil's this one..' She thought watching him closely.

Again she blinked at him. Maybe he was a vampire. She had heard storied from some loons around, homeless folk and stuff. Destiny never discredited the musings of an old beggar, they weren't crazy just frightened from what she saw. But then again that was improbable. 'Improbable not impossible..' She remained herself. If seeing was believing then she believed right now. Even in the rouge coat, it was a darker shade then red thus the name color, he fit out in this darkness, in the shadows. More curious by the second she completely forgot about the surrounding area altogether. She just wanted to study him for the moment, an artist's moment, which she'd probably kick her self in the pants later for.

"Well...develope it I guess but something in the back of my brain tells me that if I do..." She sighed looking down at her trusty side kick of 7 years hanging innocently from her neck, "It might not show up..." She mumbled more to herself then to him. Although given the circumstance she might as well just have said it aloud. Rolling her eyes which seemed like the umpteenth time in a day she'd done so she looked back at him. Her earlier thoughts had drifted far away from her mind. She wouldn't ask him to escort her to her car. That would be out of the way for him, she thought, 'And besides it's selfish of me. I'm not just some random little girl. I can take care of myself.' With that thought in mind she smiled almost apologetically.

"You seem ta be at home with yourself here and I'm probably just taking up your time. It's been nice to meet cha' tho." She reached a hand behind her head removing her watch from holding up her pony tail. "And is late. I'ma fixing to head home then. Is been nice meetin' you an' all." On that note she starte off in some old direction she thought her car might be. After meeting this one she forgot the direction completely but she'd find it eventually, at some point in time hopefully alive. She bat that thought away with an imaginary hammer. Of course she'd be alive when she found it. 'oh shoot I forgot to ask his name...' an irritated frown dusted her face, 'Ah well if fate sees it we meet som' time in da' near futu'ch I'ma see him a'gin.'
